IT La fotografia e il design sono discipline strettamente
correlate. Quanti oggetti meravigliosi abbiamo in realtà conosciuto
più attraverso la loro immagine che non per un rapporto di
fruizione diretta? In questo caso però la storia è diversa: un
fotografo si fa designer per portare nelle case di molti le sue
visioni del mondo. In particolare una, la Galleria Vittorio Emanuele,
che rappresenta per Milano, da quando il Mengoni la concepì nel
1865, un emblema. Ma come si può trasformare una fotografia
in oggetto? Ad esempio inserendola in un paravento-opera che,
inaspettatamente, sul fronte posteriore propone uno specchio:
uno specchio “a trittico” con cui percepire tutt’intera la nostra figura,
come una volta nelle sartorie.

How many wonderful things we have actually known more through
their image than for a ratio of direct use? In this case, however, the
story is different: a photographer becomes designer, to bring his
visions of the world into the homes of many people. In particular the
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, which has been an emblem for Milan. The
matter is: how can you transform a picture into an object? Maybe by
laying the image on a screen that offers, unexpectedly, a mirror on
the rear side, a “triptych” mirror designed to perceive our entire figure,
as once in the tailor shops.
PARAVENTO
Struttura costituita da tre pannelli in mdf, rivestiti da un lato in
specchio extra-chiaro mm. 5 argentato con stampa digitale, dall'altro
in laminato nero.
SCREEN
Structure consisting of three mdf panels, black laminated on the back
side. The screen is coated on the front side with an extra-clear silver
mirror covered with a digital image.
