IT Nel disegno della sedia “Bo” Starck parte da quelle che<br />

sono le regole canoniche per le sedie impilabili: le gambe anteriori più<br />

strette, quelle posteriori posizionate esternamente al filo del sedile,<br />

ma, immediatamente, trasforma tali regole in un espediente atto a<br />

caratterizzare fortemente il progetto. Bo assume infatti uno speciale<br />

scatto, approfittando proprio dell’ allargamento nel punto in cui il<br />

piano di seduta diviene schienale. Ecco allora che, nell’ analizzare “Bo”,<br />

ci si dimentica dell’impilabilità e quest’ultima, all’occorrenza, riesce<br />

senza alcuno “sforzo formale”.<br />

EN In the design of the chair “Bo” Starck starts from<br />

the canonical rules for stacking chairs as closer front legs, rear<br />

legs positioned externally to edge of the seat, but immediately<br />

changes them into an expedient measure to characterize the<br />

project. Bo takes, in fact, a special shot, taking advantage of<br />

its enlargement where the seat be<strong>com</strong>es backres. Analyzing<br />

“Bo” we then forget its stackability even if, when necessary,<br />

it succeeds without any “formal effort”.<br />
