IT Philippe Starck, da tempo, riscrive la storia delle forme<br />
utilizzando l’ironia <strong>com</strong>e principale strumento progettuale. Celebrate<br />
un certo numero di regine e principesse, ecco che rende omaggio,<br />
con la collezione Monseigneur, ad un’entità maschile: un re, un<br />
cardinale? Ne deriva un “design al maschile”: puntuto, aggressivo,<br />
fatto di legni preziosi, di metalli assoluti e di pelle capitonné.<br />
EN It’s a long time that Philippe Starck rewrites forms<br />
history by using irony as his primary design tool. After celebrating<br />
a certain number of queens and princesses, now he pays homage,<br />
with Monseigneur collection, to a male entity: a king, a cardinal? The<br />
result is a “male design”, straight, aggressive, made of precious wood,<br />
absolute metal and quilted leather.<br />
