moeilijk <strong>de</strong> gr<strong>en</strong>z<strong>en</strong> <strong>van</strong> het wet<strong>en</strong>schapsgebied<br />

Short Workshop Description<br />
Human life was and is infl u<strong>en</strong>ced<br />
by nature, just as human action<br />
changes nature. Purpose of our congress<br />
is to un<strong>de</strong>rstand the interaction<br />
betwe<strong>en</strong> people and nature in a<br />
historical perspective.<br />
Environm<strong>en</strong>t as a part of our history<br />
is oft<strong>en</strong> neglected and left to<br />
the natural sci<strong>en</strong>ces. Our confer<strong>en</strong>ce<br />
will <strong>de</strong>monstrate that historic<br />
ev<strong>en</strong>ts cannot be a<strong>de</strong>quately addressed<br />
without consi<strong>de</strong>ring the conditions<br />
