David Galea joins<br />
Ince & Co Middle East<br />
International law firm Ince & Co has recently announced<br />
that David Galea, a senior maritime law-yer,<br />
has joined the firm as a partner in the Dubai office. David’s<br />
appointment augments Ince & Co’s transactional<br />
capability in the region and across its international network.<br />
David’s legal experience spans shipping, energy, corporate,<br />
employment, general commercial, banking and<br />
finance, asset finance, construction and real estate. He<br />
has worked on transactions all around the globe, but<br />
has a particular focus on English, UAE and Maltese law.<br />
Rania Tadros, Managing Partner of Ince & Co’s Dubai<br />
office, commented: “David is a prominent figure in the<br />
maritime sector in the Middle East, so we are delighted<br />
that he has decided to join us. His transac-tional experience,<br />
together with his sector and inhouse knowledge,<br />

والمالية وتمويل األصول والبناء والعقارات. كما لديه خبرة يف العمل<br />
على معامالت قانونية يف جميع أنحاء العالم، لكنه مهتم وبشكل<br />

شراكة بين رولز رويس وأكسا لتطوير حلول للسفن ذاتية القيادة<br />
وقعت شركة رولز رويس اتفاقية مع<br />
شركة التأمين العالمية أكسا لتطوير منتجات<br />
بشكل مشترك لسفن الشحن ذاتية القيادة<br />
وستعمل شركة رولزرويس، يف إطار هذه<br />
الرسالة على الجمع بين أنظمة ومعدات<br />
تطوير السفن مع قدرات تحليل المخاطر<br />
الخاصة بأ كسا لتطوير السفن الحالية<br />
والمستقبلية. حيث أن أنظمة ومعدات<br />
رولز رويس لتطوير السفن قادرة على<br />
استخدام أجهزة االستشعار والبيانات على<br />
متن السفن لتمكين أكسا من تقديم خدمة<br />
مبتكرة للسفن البحرية. كما ستقوم رولز<br />
رويس وأكسا بمراقبة التغيرات يف مخاطر<br />
العمليات البحرية على متن السفن مدعومة<br />
بمستويات متزايدة من واألتمتة والتحكم<br />
عن بعد، باإلضافة إىل نماذج أعمال تجارية<br />
بحرية جديدة تستهدف السفن ذاتية القيادة.<br />
Rolls-Royce and AXA partner to develop<br />
autonomous shipping solutions<br />
Rolls-Royce has signed a letter of intent (LoI) with global insurance firm<br />
AXA Corporate Solutions to explore ways to jointly develop products for the<br />
autonomous shipping sector. Under the LoI, Rolls-Royce will combine its ship<br />
intelligence systems and equipment with AXA’s risk analytics capabilities to<br />
support current and future vessels. Rolls-Royce Ship Intelligence products are<br />
capable of using various sensors on-board, streaming data to enable AXA to<br />
provide an innovative service to marine vessels. In the longer term, Rolls-Royce<br />
and AXA will monitor the changing risk profiles of maritime operations supported<br />
by increasing levels of remote control and automation, as well as new<br />
maritime business models involving autonomous ships.<br />
