vom Technik-Bereich.
Two vacuum tray dryer units were supplied to equip
technical schools of our customer Bayer Schering
Pharma AG in Berlin. In these systems designed as
package units, pharmaceutical products are dried
under clean room conditions. To integrate these units
in the customer's clean room walls, the front panels of
the package units are equipped with wall installation
panels made of polished stainless steel. Our vacuum
tray dryer of the VTP series in cGMP-compliant pharmaceutical
design is integrated here as a wall installation
unit virtually flush with the front of the panel.
The main controls for the operator are installed on the
clean room side. The necessary equipment for operation
is located on the back of the wall panel: vacuum system
with solvent recovery, heating-cooling unit, inerting
module.
The complete unit is designed in accordance with
the ATEX directives for use in potentially explosive
atmospheres. Therefore, potentially explosive products
containing solvents can also be processed. The pharmaceutical
vacuum tray dryer unit is characterised
by a gap-free, cavity-free process area with heated
storage surfaces which are integrated in the interior as
if made from one piece. This design offers the operator
clear advantages: excellent accessibility and cleanability.
The vacuum tray dryer unit is also equipped with
useful features such as continual product temperature
measurement and removable carrier gas lance. A touch
panel with process visualisation for the automation
system of the vacuum tray dryer unit rounds off the
high-tech tray dryer unit.
