Internationale Erfahrungen an den mehr als 90 Partnerhochschulen der ebs
weltweit sind ein wesentliches Qualitätsmerkmal unseres Studienangebots.
Alle Studierenden der ebs verbringen mindestens ein Semester im Ausland.
Vor diesem Hintergrund versuchen wir unser Austauschnetz stetig zu
erweitern. Bedingungen für eine Aufnahme in unser Partnernetz sind akademische
Exzellenz, regionale Aspekte sowie die Marktführerschaft bei
bestimmten Programmschwerpunkten. Wir freuen uns, vier neue
Kooperationspartner der ebs vorzustellen, auf die diese Kriterien voll und
ganz zutreffen.
Aarhus School of Business (Handelshøjskolen I Århus), Dänemark
Die Aarhus School of Business (ASB) wurde 1939 gegründet und hat den Status
einer autonomen dänischen Universität. Den mehr als 6000 eingeschriebenen
Studenten, darunter eine kontinuierlich wachsende Anzahl Studierender aus dem
Ausland, werden in den beiden Fakultäten Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Moderne
Sprachen sechs verschiedene Bachelor-, dreizehn spezialisierte Master- und zwei
hochwertige Ph.D.-Programme angeboten. Auf der Erkenntnis aufbauend, dass gute
Lehre nur stattfinden kann, wo auch gute Forschung betrieben wird, legt man an der
ASB viel Wert auf „high quality research and research-based study programmes“.
Die Studenten der ebs werden in den englischsprachigen Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration oder in eines der drei englischsprachigen Master-of-
Science-Programme („Finance and Internatonal Business“, „EU Business and Law“,
„Business Performance Management“) integriert.
Universidad de Granada.
Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales, Spanien
Granadas erste Universität, la Madraza, wurde im Jahre 1349 von Sultan Yusuf I
gegründet. Das ehemalige Hochschulgebäude, das in späterer Zeit auch als Rathaus
diente, ist immer noch ein Schmuckstück des Altstadtviertels um die Kathedrale. Karl
V. erwirkte 1531 die Gründung der heutigen Universität, die aus 16 Fakultäten und
11 Forschungsinstituten besteht. Ihre mehr als 60.000 Studierende machen
Granada zu einer weltoffenen, attraktiven und höchst lebendigen Universitätsstadt.
Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Facultade de Economia, Portugal
Die Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL), die absichtsvoll und programmatisch das
NEUE im Namen trägt, wurde 1973 gegründet. 1978 konnte die „Facultade de
Economia“ mit einem kombinierten Master- und Ph.D.-Programm nach amerikanischem
Vorbild eingeweiht werden. Die wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Fakultät
befindet sich auf einem der sieben Hügel Lissabons im renovierten und umgebauten
Colégio de Campolide. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft liegen der Parque Eduardo VII
und das Museu Calouste Gulbenkian mit einer der erlesensten Kunstsammlungen
der Welt. Die „Facultade de Economia“ der Universidade Nova de Lisboa ist die
führende wirtschaftwissenschaftliche Forschungsstätte Portugals. Weil man weiß,
dass hervorragende Forschung die Grundvoraussetzung für ein internationales
Rennomee ist, folgt man dem Motto: „A excelência da investigacão conduz à
excelência no ensino“ - „Nur Exzellenz in der Forschung führt zu Exzellenz in der
Lehre“. Seit Januar 2004 ist die Facultade de Economia der Universidade Nova de
Lisboa die erste portugiesische Partnerhochschule der ebs.

International experiences at our more than 90 partner schools around the
globe are an essential quality feature of our courses we offer.
All ebs students must study at least one semester abroad. Therefore we try
to continuously expand our exchange network. Conditions for admission as a
partner school are academic excellence, regional aspects and a leadership
position in specific course offers.
We are glad to present four new partner schools, which meet these standards
to the fullest extent.
Aarhus School of Business (Handelshøjskolen I Århus), Dänemark
The Aarhus School of Business (ASB) was founded in 1939 and has the status of
an autonomous Danish University. More than 6000 students, among them a
growing number of international students, are offered a wide range of courses
within the two faculties Business Management and Modern Languages. They can
choose between six Bachelor, thirteen Master and two high-quality Ph.D. -
Programmes. Based on the insight that good teaching requires good research, the
ASB attaches a lot of value to their “high quality research and research-based study
programmes”. ebs students will be enrolled either in the Bachelor-program in
business management or in one of the three Master programmes (“Finance and
International Business”, “EU Business and Law”, “Business Performance
Management”).

Granadas first university, la Madraza, was founded in the year 1349 by Sultan Yusuf I.
The former university building, which also served as town hall in later times, is still
a jewel in Granada´s old town center around the cathedral. The university of today
was obtained by Charles V. and consists of 16 faculties and 11 research-institutes.
More than 60.000 students provide a cosmopolitan, attractive and lively
atmosphere.

The Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL), which intentionally bears the attribute NEW
in its name, was founded in 1973. The “Facultade de Economia” with its combined
Master- and Ph.D.-programmes, constructed after the American role model, was
established in 1978. It is located on top of one of the seven hills in Lisboa in the
renovated and restructured Colégio de Campolide. In its immediate neighbourhood
are the Parque Eduardo VII and the Museu Calouste Gulbenkian with one of the most
exquisite art collections worldwide.
The “Facultade de Economia“ of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa is the leading
economic research center of Portugal. Based on the well known fact that outstanding
research is a prerequisite for international reputation the faculty follows
the catch phrase: “A excelência da investigacão conduz à excelência no ensino” –
“Only excellence in research leads to excellence in teaching”. The “Facultade de
Economia” of the “Universidade Nova de Lisboa” is member of our network since
January 2004. It is the first Portuguese partnerschool of the ebs.
