The programme was very practice-orientedand focused on international container transport, containerterminal development, container terminalmanagement and operations, container terminal yardand ship planning, container terminal informationsystems, personnel management, marketing and assetlifecycle management. The participants visited the containerterminals Altenwerder, Burchardkai and Eurogateas well as the multipurpose facility Süd-West Terminaland the HHLA Fruit Centre in Hamburg. They also visitedBremerhaven, where bremenports GmbH conducteda very interesting programme for the guests.
