The district of <strong>Saarlouis</strong> is located at the intersection<br />
of important European traffic routes: The A1, A8, A620 and<br />
A6 motorways ensure connection to the adjoining business<br />
regions of France, Luxembourg, Mannheim and Karlsruhe<br />
as well as to the Ruhr area. From Saarbrücken there is a fast<br />
railway connection to the large cities of France. The airports<br />
of Saarbrücken and Luxemburg are easy to reach and the<br />
industrial port of <strong>Saarlouis</strong>/Dillingen, Germany’s third largest<br />
inland port, also contributes to the fact that the business<br />
region of <strong>Saarlouis</strong> has taken on the function of a goods hub<br />
and of an ideal location for logistics providers.<br />
