Dominik Srienc is a scholarly assistant in the FWF Project Bilingual
Literary Practice at the University of Graz’s Institute of Slavic
Studies and a senior scholar at the Musil Institute for Literary
Research, Archives of Carinthian Literature, University of
Klagenfurt. His research interests are writing processes, the
writing scene, archival theory, contemporary Austrian and
Slovenian literature, literature of Carinthian Slovenians, and
intermediality. He has coedited the volume Konrad Bayer: Texte,
Bilder (Konrad Bayer: Texts, Images, 2015). His most recent
publication is “Erzählheimat Slowenien. Handkes Sprach- und
Bildlandschaft” (Slovenia as Narrative Home: Handke’s Language
and Picture Landscape, 2017). He is currently writing his doctoral
dissertation on Florjan Lipuš.
