Piešťany budú o rok hostiť karavanistov z celej Európy. O organizačnom
zabezpečení a prípravách na toto významné stretnutie sa hovorilo aj na
nedávnom prijatí predstaviteľov karavanistov Európy primátorom
Piešťan. Prezident Výboru Rallye Europe Jean-Marc Dudt z Francúzska
(na fotografii v strede) vyjadril spokojnosť nad záujmom mesta
i Trnavského samosprávneho kraja o toto podujatie, ktoré sa určite
stane jedným z tých najvýznamnejších v roku 2010.
Piešťany will host a gathering of campers from all over Europe next
year. The mayor of Piešťany discussed the organization and preparation
for this significant event with the representatives of the group when he
recently greeted them in Piešťany. The president of the Rally Europe
Committee, Jean-Marc Dudt of France (on the left), was satisfied with
the great interest in this event shown by the town and the Trnava Selfgoverning
Region. The meeting will definitely be one of the most
important events of 2010.
In einem Jahr wird Piešťany zur Gastgeberstadt für Camper aus
ganz Europa. Die organisatorische Gestaltung und die
Vorbereitungen für diesen bedeutenden Event waren auch
während des jüngsten Empfangs von Vertretern der europäischen Camper durch den Bürgermeister von Piešťany ein Gesprächsthema. Der Präsident
des „Rallye Europe-Ausschusses“, Jean-Marc Dudt aus Frankreich (m.) äußerte sich mit Zufriedenheit über das Interesse der Stadt und des
Selbstverwaltungsbezirkes Trnava an dieser Veranstaltung, die mit Sicherheit eine der bedeutendsten im Jahre 2010 sein wird.
Humánna medicína, jej velikáni, objavitelia a priekopníci sa stali stredobodom
pozornosti lekára Dušana Žitňana (84), ktorého celoživotnou záľubou okrem
medicíny sa stalo maľovanie. Portréty jeho významných kolegov,
predchodcov obdivovali návštevníci galérie Fontána. Portréty jednotlivých
osobností sú doplnené krátkou informáciou o tom, čím prispel konkrétny
lekár k obohateniu medicíny.
Humane medicine and its proponents and pioneers are the focus of Dr. Dušan
Žitňan, a physician (84) who has always enjoyed painting. The portraits of his
notable colleagues and predecessors were admired by visitors to the Fontána
Gallery. The pictures were accompanied by information about the
contribution to medicine by these various personages.
Die Humanmedizin und ihre Größen, Entdecker und Pioniere standen im
Mittelpunkt der Aufmerksamkeit des Arztes Dušan Žitňan (84), dessen
lebenslange Leidenschaft neben der Medizin der Malerei galt. Portraits seiner
bedeutenden Kollegen und Vorgänger konnten Besucher in der Galerie
„Fontána“ bewundern. Die Bilder einzelner Persönlichkeiten wurden ergänzt
durch eine kurze Information über ihre Verdienste im Bereich der Medizin.

Primátor mesta Piešťany Remo Cicutto každoročne oceňuje osobnosti, ktoré prispeli
významným spôsobom k zviditeľneniu mesta. Medzi ocenenými boli olympijskí víťazi,
majstri sveta, režisér, opatrovateľ, vydavatelia knihy o piešťanských stromoch.
Najúspešnejšou športovkyňou roka sa stala vynikajúca tenistka Dominika Cibulková.
Personalities who have contributed significantly to the promotion of the town are
awarded annually by Remo Cicutto, the Mayor of Piešťany. This year the recipients
included Olympic medal winners, world champions, a film director, a nurse and the
editors of a book about the trees of Piešťany. Tennis player Dominika Cibulková was
named the most successful female athlete of the year.
Alljährlich würdigt der Bürgermeister der Stadt Piešťany, Remo Cicutto,
Persönlichkeiten, die einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Publikmachung der Stadt
geleistet haben. Diesmal befanden sich unter den Preisträgern Olympiasieger,
Weltmeister, ein Regisseur, ein Pfleger und die Herausgeber der Publikation über die
Bäume von Piešťany. Zur erfolgreichsten Sportlerin des Jahres wurde die
hervorragende Tennisspielerin, Dominika Cibulková, gekürt.
