PARTNERSKÉHO MESTA

mesta Piešťany Remom Cicuttom.
Obyvateľov Eilatu, turistov a pozvaných
hostí zaujal prezentačný stánok mesta
Piešťany. Ich pozornosť upútal už
samotný fakt, že sme kúpeľné mesto,
kde sa lieči reuma. Informovali sa
najmä o kúpeľných aktivitách,
tradíciách a možnostiach ubytovania.
Na pamiatku si mohli odniesť rôzne
propagačné materiály z Piešťan.
Súčasťou osláv bolo vztyčovanie vlajok
Eilatu a jeho partnerských miest. Odteraz
bude v centre tohto krásneho
prístavného mesta a rekreačného
strediska viať aj vlajka Piešťan, zložená zo
žltej, modrej a bielej farby, aby
pripomínala naše partnerstvo a vzájomnú
spoluprácu. z

a number of cultural events. The
Mayor of Eilat, Itzhak Halevi, invited
his colleagues from sister cities on the
occasion of the anniversary: the Mayor of
Kamen, Germany, Hermann Hupe; the
Mayor of Kampen, Holland, Jan Oosterhof;
and the Mayor of Piešťany, Remo Cicutto.
Israeli President Shimon Peres also
attended, at which time he met the Mayor
of our town.
Many inhabitants of Eilat, tourists and
invited guests were interested in the
promotion stand of the town of Piešťany
and the information there about the spa
town where rheumatoid diseases are
treated; many asked for and received
information about spa treatment, traditions
and accommodation.
