(Vienna Medical Center). The Vienna
Medical Center offers medical checkups,
specialist diagnosis and medical
treatment using state-of-the-art technology. Employing

up by Professor Michael Zimpfer MD, MBA, who

Professor Zimpfer is a full professor at the Medical
University of Vienna/Vienna General Hospital
and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
He trained as a Cardiologist and previous
assignments included Harvard Medical School
and Duke Medical Center for Outcomes Research
in North Carolina. Prof. Zimpfer is a member of
the Society of Friends of the Weizmann Institute
of Science and served as a visiting professor at the
King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi
Arabia.
Prof. Zimpfer’s success can be attributed to his
lean principles in his healthcare practice, holistic
solutions to patients’ medical concerns, effective
pain management and a belief that minimally
invasive treatment plays a key role in improving
general health.
The Center is in the heart of Vienna’s ninth
district and is conveniently located within walking
distance of Vienna General Hospital (Allgemeines
Krankenhaus (AKH) and St. Anna Children’s
