Battlefords chosen as the site of the 2007 event. The Samboree includes
tours, educational RV seminars and an RV market place which enhances
lots of good fellowship. An exciting event, open to all RV owners.

Battlefords
Blend Harmony Chorus
Battlefords Blend is a group of ladies who sing four part harmony
acappella style. The chorus practices every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the
Western Development Museum. Education and training is provided in
four part harmony. The chorus sings on request.

Battlefords Branch of the
Ukrainian Canadian Cultural Council
Battlefords Branch - Saskatchewan Provincial Council
(UCC-SPC)
The fi rst local cultural council of representatives from various
Ukrainian community organizations in the Battlefords was founded in
1976 at North Battleford aided by Provincial Executive Saskatchewan
Council (UCC-SPC).
Aim: To promote Ukrainian culture and Ukrainian language in the
Battlefords by coordinating the work of various Ukrainian organizations
in this region and by representing the Ukrainian community and its
views on local matters.
BUCCC participates in many ethnic projects and activities.
Meetings are held monthly at Slawa Centre (Ukrainian Seniors
Centre) at 792-108th Street in North Battleford. Please feel welcome
to attend this worthwhile organization.

Battlefords Community Players
The purpose of the club is to promote, maintain and present live
theatre in the Battlefords. The club is one of the oldest community
theatre groups in the province and the fi rst to introduce supper theatre
to Saskatchewan audiences.
The club traditionally presents four productions each year and works
with other groups in joint ventures to present a wide variety of opportunities
to the community. We pride ourselves in the presentation of locally written
work, thus improving another form of art in the community.
Our 2012-2013 season will include four productions, mainly comedies
as part of our regular season. We will also produce A Country Opera
- Musical Theatre as a special presentation as our contribution to help
celebrate the City of North Battlefords’ 100th Birthday. Battlefords
Community Palyers will also host TheatreFest 2013, a week long
community theatre celebration featuring 7 play in 7 nights from 7
communities across the province.
The annual meeting of the club is held in the fall of each year and
regular monthly meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every
month in our new Club House at 102 - 26th Street, Battleford.

Battlefords Duplicate Bridge Club
The Bridge Club is in its 43rd year of operation. Bridge is a very
intelligent game among card games and possibly the most popular. One
session of Bridge is offered every week - Thursdays, 7:00 p.m. Phone
445-7615 or 937-2952 for more information. At $4.00 per session with
coffee it is a very good bargain and an excellent pastime, especially
during the winter months.
Two charity games are held each year, one local and the other national.
Apart from the above three memorial tournaments are held - sectionals,
regionals. Provincial, national and international bridge tournaments are
regular features.
Lessons are given on Tuesday evenings, starting in the fall for six
weeks, with novice games continuing through the year. All novice
players are welcome to come and play on Tuesday afternoons.
The Battlefords Duplicate Bridge Club is an affi liated club with the
American Contract Bridge Club in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, the HQ
