Serena is a natural family planning information and counselling<br />
service which:<br />
• promotes an understanding of fertility by the sympto-thermal test<br />
for ovulation;<br />
• encourages couple decision-making in a loving dialogue;<br />
• values human life from conception;<br />
• provides information on marriage and human sexuality.<br />
Well trained volunteer couples are available to meet with individual<br />
couples and groups in many different centres.<br />

Teen-Aid Northwest<br />
“Caring about Teens”<br />
This organization is a non-profi t, charitable educational organization<br />
that brings the Teen-Aid program to schools and youth groups which<br />
request it in the Northwest region of Saskatchewan. The purpose of<br />
Teen-Aid is to create awareness in teens regarding the consequences<br />
of pre-marital sexual activity and to promote chastity (pre-marital<br />
abstinence) as the most healthy and realistic lifestyle possible. Topics<br />
presented are fertility awareness, friendship and dating, consequences<br />
of teen sexual involvement, and a realistic portrayal of the advantages of<br />
abstinence. Teen-Aid also stresses and encourages parental involvement<br />
in these topics.<br />
The Teen-Aid teacher is a qualifi ed graduate from the College of<br />
Education.<br />

Territorial Youth Services<br />
Territorial Youth Services is an organization designed to help<br />
troubled teens (ages 12-18) with situations and problems in their lives<br />
by providing support, direction, etc., to the specifi ed need.<br />
Our day work program provides a means whereby a youth can earn<br />
money to pay off fi nes or restitution through diversifi ed work projects.<br />
Mall space is FREE of charge to NON-PROFIT organizations.<br />

At the same time youths are learning work skills, behaviour patterns<br />
and discipline which will help him or her in later life. In both programs<br />
there is an emphasis on life skills and recreation.<br />

For more than 80 years, Welcome Wagon has been known as<br />
“Canada’s Neighbourhood Tradition” They operate the largest and<br />
foremost personal public relations service in Canada.<br />
Originally conceived in 1928 in Memphis, Tennessee, the service<br />
expanded two years later into the Canadian market, starting in Vancouver,<br />
