<strong>Battlefords</strong> Interval House<br />
Battleford Interval House provides services to women who: are living<br />
in a violent relationship; are living with an alcohol or drug problem<br />
— his or hers; have been hurt by someone they love; have children<br />
who have been hurt by someone they love; have been emotionally<br />
abused by a husband, boyfriend, or live-in partner; wonder<br />
whether to stay in a relationship; are experiencing other personal<br />
crisis.<br />

• 24-hour crisis telephone line<br />
• safe accommodation<br />
• counselling<br />
• referral and advocacy<br />
• transportation to and from appointments and school<br />
• aid in house fi nding<br />

This organization is a non-sectarian, non-profit, educational<br />
organization formed to promote respect for all human life, from<br />
conception to natural death. When the right to life is disregarded, all<br />
human rights are jeopardized.<br />

<strong>Battlefords</strong> Search and Rescue is a non-profi t, volunteer organization<br />
trained in search and rescue techniques, serving the <strong>Battlefords</strong> and<br />
area.<br />
Our community based group of volunteers assist the RCMP in the<br />
search for lost persons and may also provide assistance in times of<br />
disaster.<br />
Our motto is: It’s better to be prepared and not needed than needed<br />
and not prepared.<br />
