Rivers’ Edge Quilters -
The Battlefords
The Rivers’ Edge Quilt Guild was formed in September 2000 with 14
members and now has an active membership of nearly 40 quilters.
Activities include: monthly business meetings at the Don Ross Center
craft room on the fi rst Friday of every month September - May - day
long sewing sessions, usually Thursday, Friday and Saturday, also at the
craft room; retreats; biennial quilt shows; classes taught by members at
no charge; and projects for donation within the community.
On sewing days, members work on their own projects, take a
class from another member, or work on a charity project. Nothing is
compulsory, and members can attend as often or as little as they like.
Our skill levels range from beginner to expert, and we are happy to
help new quilters learn.
There is a reasonable annual membership fee and all are welcome.
