block pornographic images; we, too,<br />

can install and use filtering systems.<br />

Take advantage of Google and<br />

Youtube's SafeSearch features and<br />

parental controls by others. Every step<br />

should be taken to prevent<br />

pornography addiction.<br />

Research reveals that pornography<br />

viewing releases adrenalin and<br />

dopamine into the blood stream. In<br />

essence, adrenalin gives a physical<br />

"rush" and dopamine acts as a pain<br />

killer. This combination is powerfully<br />

addicting. Drug and alcohol addicts say<br />

that a pornography addiction is as<br />

bad—or worse—than a substance<br />

addiction.<br />

More recent research also shows that<br />

something even more shocking occurs<br />

during pornography sessions. Scientists<br />

speculate that a hormone called<br />

oxytocin is also released.
