First four-cylinder establishes <strong>Cadillac</strong> as the pioneer of multicylinder<br />
motor cars.<br />
Famous Johannson gauges, First imported into United States by<br />
<strong>Cadillac</strong>, enable <strong>Cadillac</strong> to become the following year the—<br />
First American Car to be awarded the Dewar Trophy by Royal<br />
Automobile Club of London for being First to achieve interchangeability<br />
through standardization of parts.<br />
<strong>Cadillac</strong> purchased by General Motors Corporation. Fourcylinder<br />

First to offer Closed Bodies as standard equipment. Less than<br />
