as Trips Ferry (with Capt Churches company) where<br />

the deferter was; who was a fellow <strong>of</strong> good fenfe, and<br />

told his flory handfomely: he <strong>of</strong>fered Capt. Church to<br />

Pilot him to Philip, and to help to kill him, that he might<br />

revenge his Brothers death. Told him, That Philip was<br />

now upon a little fpot <strong>of</strong> Upland that was in the South<br />

end <strong>of</strong> the miery Swamp juft at the foot <strong>of</strong> the Mount, 301<br />

which was a fpot <strong>of</strong> ground that Capt. Church was well<br />
