313.07.15 Sampling<br />

Subsection 313.07.15 <strong>of</strong> OPSS 313 is amended by the addition <strong>of</strong> the following clause:<br />

313.07.15.06 <strong>Rubber</strong> <strong>Modified</strong> <strong>Asphalt</strong><br />

Samples shall not be taken from the transition areas. In addition to other samples specified in the Contract<br />

Documents, the Contractor shall procure RMA samples <strong>of</strong> a minimum quantity specified in Table R5 for each <strong>of</strong><br />

the control and trial sections.<br />

Sample labeling shall include: highway number, highway direction, lane number, contract number, section (trial<br />

or control), mix type, corresponding Lot/Sublot numbers, station, date sampled. The Contractor shall deliver the<br />

samples specified in Table R5 to the address below:<br />

Section 313.07 <strong>of</strong> OPSS 313 is amended by the addition <strong>of</strong> the following subsection:<br />

313.07.19 Identification <strong>of</strong> RMA Paving Limits<br />

The Contractor shall provide to the Contract Administrator, no later than 7 Days after completion <strong>of</strong> RMA<br />

paving, an as built sketch identifying the stations as well as the GPS data for the RMA paving limits. The GPS<br />

data shall be geo-referenced and NAD83 geographic coordinates (latitude, longitude) shall be used. Geographic<br />

coordinates (latitude, longitude) shall be provided within metre-level accuracy.<br />

313.08 QUALITY ASSURANCE<br />

313.08.01.02.01 Lot Size<br />

Clause 313.08.01.02.01 <strong>of</strong> OPSS 313 is amended by the addition <strong>of</strong> the following:<br />

Each mix type for the trial section shall be considered as a single lot with a minimum <strong>of</strong> three sublots.<br />

313.08.01.02.03 Basis <strong>of</strong> Acceptance<br />

Clause 313.08.01.02.03 <strong>of</strong> OPSS 313 is amended by the addition <strong>of</strong> the following:<br />

a) Acceptance <strong>of</strong> Crumb <strong>Rubber</strong><br />

i. All CR shall meet the gradation requirements specified in Table R3 determined according to ASTM<br />

D5644.<br />

b) Acceptance <strong>of</strong> <strong>Rubber</strong> <strong>Modified</strong> <strong>Asphalt</strong> (RMA)<br />
