authors’ names in parentheses. Thus, Subrahmanyam, Karandikar, and
Murti, in the first part of their paper dealing with bivalve Mollusca, have
inserted all the authors' names within parenthesis, whereas in the second
part dealing with Gastropoda the authors' names are not in parenthesis.
Similarly, Joshi, in his list of Isopoda, has used authors' names without
parenthesis, while Deshpande, in her list of Amphipoda, has inserted them
within parenthesis. An attempt has been made here to correct these;
otherwise the names of the animals and their authorship have not been
altered, but have been retained as they were treated by the workers.
