Collect dues<br />
Gathering game: <strong>Beaver</strong> Ball<br />
6:35 p.m. Opening ceremony<br />
Feed the <strong>Beaver</strong><br />
Welcome parents, group committee reps, and sponsor/partner reps.<br />
6:40 p.m. Conduct investiture of new leaders (by invested leaders).<br />
6:50 p.m. Tell or read Chapter 5 of Friends of the Forest, which talks about<br />
sharing.<br />
7:00 p.m. Investiture of Kits<br />
7:15 p.m. Have everyone join in a lap sit and play one game of Farmyard (to<br />
promote colony unity).<br />
7:25 p.m. Give parents and <strong>Beaver</strong>s refreshments; let everyone mingle.<br />
7:35 p.m. Ask everyone to join the singing for “I’m a Little <strong>Beaver</strong>” and<br />
“Head and Shoulders.”<br />
7:40 p.m. Closing Ceremony<br />
Thanks to all participants for attending<br />
Future program plans; switch to a one-hour program, if desired.<br />
7:45 p.m. “Good night and busy building tomorrow.”<br />
Note: At the leader meeting:<br />
a) Review how the investiture ceremony went, and what<br />
changes you would make next year.<br />
