Dr. Wden wanted to assure that catalytic ir~cinerators are not<br />

preempted fraa the Polymers & Resins CTG. He feels that the capital cost<br />

<strong>of</strong> catalytic incineration is not prohibitive and welcomes an opportunity<br />

ta prove it with a cmparative study if there was a case for him ,to bid on.<br />

Dr. Wden has made several presentations to ESU) (including one on March 12,<br />

regarding tire capabil itles <strong>of</strong> the Wont Towex Cirtalytic Reactor.<br />

I said we would review the CT6 and see if we felt strongly against<br />

catalytic incineration for this a plication. If !lo, we would give him<br />

the ctpprTtUnity to disprove us. &hewise, we will change the CTG to<br />

allow catalytic incineration.<br />
