ACTIVE FIT
A body-hugging, narrow leg cut, generally used with stretch
fabrics. The excellent freedom of movement makes it suitable
for alpine activities.
HIGH WAIST
The waist band sits just below the navel at the front and is
raised at the back to offer more protection in the sensitive
kidney area, even during more intense activity. If the pants
are designed predominantly for classic outdoor activities, the
ACTIVE FIT will generally be teamed with a REGULAR WAIST
(see explanation on the left). Those designed specifically for
mountain sports will have a HIGH WAIST.
