FUNCTIONALITY
Our DRYARN PRO underwear was developed for all-season, all-activity wear. In
medium temperatures it is also ideal for use as a base layer worn next to the skin.
The EYELET Q.M.C. S.FRESH fabric was developed specifically for the job and has
a bi-polar knit structure. The smooth, soft inner surface consists of poly pro py lene
and polyester fibres, which absorb little moisture themselves but wick it ra p idly
away from the skin. The Q.M.C. fibres of the face fabric have a spe cial ‘eyelet’
struc ture, which creates an artificially enlarged surface area for faster eva po ra tion
of sweat. This means the underwear dries fast, while at the same time allowing
the minimum level of evaporation necessary to control body temperature.
EYELET Q.M.C. S.FRESH also has natural antimicrobial properties, with
integrated silver salts (often sourced from seawater) that limit the formation
of bacteria and associated unpleasant odours in the fabric. The effect is
natural, durable, applies exclusively to the fabric itself and does not work
directly on the skin. The antibacterial function conforms to all current inter -
national standards and has been found to pose no risk to human health. It
also conforms to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 – an international certification
system for textiles.
