The jacket that goes to extremes. The new SCANDIUM
alpine shell delivers the highest combined values for water -
proofing and breathability currently achievable: a hydro -
static head of 40,000 mm and a moisture vapour trans -
mission rate (MVTR) of 30,000 g/m 2 /24 h).
The 3-layer TEXAPORE HYPROOF O 3 TASGRID laminate
is not only extremely waterproof and exceptionally breath -
able; it is also more supple than other 3-layer fabrics and
very light. This means the SCANDIUM delivers full-bore
functionality but still weighs only 465 g (size L).
Features include venting pit zips and an offset front
zip, which prevents multiple zips in the layering system
bunch ing uncomfortably at the neck.
