One pair of perfect summer/tropical pants,
with three key functional attributes:
Firstly, they provide effective protection from
nasty biting insects (midges, mosquitos, ticks etc.);
secondly, they have a UV protection factor of
40+, which is intrinsic to the fabric; and thirdly,
the fabric is constructed in such a way that it wicks
moisture away from the body and dries very rapidly.
These pants are pleasantly airy and light to wear,
too, and when things do get a little too hot for
comfort, simply roll up the legs, button them in
