SOLE TECHNOLOGY:
VIBRAM QUADRO ZONIC
A state-of-the-art sole unit, developed in cooperation with VIBRAM to meet the rigorous de mands
of mountain hikes, via ferratas, and treks. It comprises five different components:
1 Robust rubber outsole
2 Lightweight PU midsole
3 PU shock absorbers at the heel and toe
4 Extremely stable nylon insole for rigidity
5 Cushioning and ventilated felt footbed
The outsole has four special zones:
the STABILITY ZONE (for high stability), the GRIP ZONE (for outstanding traction), the BRAKE
ZONE (prevents slipping and improves braking) and the ROCK ZONE at the toe (for scrambling
and climbing).
