Either extremely waterproof or extremely breath able?
No, that’s just not good enough for us! And that
is why we developed TEXAPORE HYPROOF O 3. This
weather proof shell fabric boasts the highest combined
values for waterproofness and breathability that are
currently achievable: a 40,000 – 50,000 mm hydrostatic
head rating and a moisture vapour transmission rate of
25,000 – 30,000 g/m²/24 h.
TEXAPORE HYPROOF O 3 also remains waterproof under
extremely high pressure, e. g. the pressure exerted on the
fabric when you are carrying a heavy pack. Sweat (in the
form of moisture vapour) can also escape more effec -
tively through this fabric than through any other fabrics
that are equally as waterproof. This is achieved through
the use of a specially reinforced, pore-free membrane in
tandem with a catalytic layer located between the face
fabric and the membrane.
