Softshells combine outstanding breathability and freedom of movement with a
measured degree of weather protection. The fact that they are not required to be
totally waterproof is a significant advantage in terms of wear comfort, as sweat
can escape more effectively through the fabric. Softshells provide sufficient
weather protection in 90 % of all situations.

This jacket is a technical and super-comfortable hiking
softshell, which epitomises the advantages of the soft -
shell concept: active stretch mobility, high breathability
and extremely water repellent.
The STORMLOCK fabric has similar qualities to the muchloved
sweatshirt materials but it is significantly more
functional. Both the outer and reverse sides consist of a
soft textured knitwear, which delivers basic insulation.
Sweat is shifted rapidly to the outer surface of the fabric,

where it evaporates effectively. The active stretch com -
fort is practical, too, particularly for activities which call
for plenty of freedom of movement.
