Troubleshooting<br />
Protecting Your Warranty<br />
When performing procedures outlined in the “Troubleshooting Gui<strong>de</strong>” on page 85,<br />
observe the following gui<strong>de</strong>lines in or<strong>de</strong>r for your luminaire to remain covered by the<br />
Vari-Lite Limited Warranty (inclu<strong>de</strong>d in product shipping container).<br />
Step 1. The luminaire enclosure, yoke, and head covers can be removed to check for<br />
loose connectors or obvious signs of wiring, component, subassembly,<br />
power supply, or PCB (printed circuit board) failure. Connectors can be<br />
removed and reinstalled to check for bent pins or loose wire connections.<br />
Step 2. Disassembly of the luminaire beyond that outlined in (1.) above will void the<br />
Vari-Lite Limited Warranty. Swapping of parts between luminaires for troubleshooting<br />
purposes will void the warranty on each luminaire involved.<br />
Or<strong>de</strong>ring repair parts or returning subassemblies for repair will void the<br />
warranty on the luminaire.<br />
