Control Channel Functions<br />
The following control actions must be accomplished with zero time transition or with<br />
timing disabled. Discrete values must be used and not manual controls such as fa<strong>de</strong>rs<br />
or enco<strong>de</strong>rs.<br />

To use control channel functions:<br />
Step 1. Select an action to be sent.<br />
Step 2. Set control channel value for <strong>de</strong>sired action (for example, 84 for reset). Hold<br />
value for 3 seconds.<br />
Note: A numerical keypad is required for sending values. An enco<strong>de</strong>r or fa<strong>de</strong>r does<br />
not allow for a quick value change, which is required to affect the control functions.<br />
Step 3. Set control channel value to zero. (This must occur without any scaling<br />
values. Action will be voi<strong>de</strong>d if other values are <strong>de</strong>tected between action<br />
value and zero.)<br />
Note: The Snap control channel function takes place immediately, and does not<br />
require the control value be set to zero after three seconds. For more information on<br />
Snap functionality see “Snap Colors” on page 26.<br />
