Taking the Max opportunity to the world
Via Cartagenas recently relocated to Harbor City, California, from the Philippines. Via was with another
company for 10 years in the Philippines. She said she had explosive growth in her last company and
they sold a very good product, but the management was lacking and the timing was poor. She received
very little in the way of support. She decided to quit the business and lock the door against the network
marketing industry. That, of course, changed when a friend told her about Max International and she flew
to Salt Lake City to meet the Co-founders.
“The credibility and integrity of the management and the quality of the product convinced me I needed to join even though,
prior to Salt Lake, I was certain I would not do another MLM,” Via said.
Although she relocated to California, and tours around all parts of the U.S. and Canada promoting the business, she
remains grateful for what Max offers her home country.
“Finally a company that has given my countrymen a chance to be first in this rapidly expanding company,” Via said. “What
a huge homerun for the Philippines. Way to go, Max!”
Max aligns principles with business
Doris and Dan Clark, of Colleyville, Texas, said that nothing in their past network marketing
experience compares with Max and the incredible support of their Max Champions Team. Dan and
Doris advise new Associates to stay with the basics, observe those who are successful, and duplicate
what they do.
“Core values and alignment are the priority in our relationships and business,” doris said. “Being
equally yoked applies not only to marriage but also to professional associations.”
The Clarks were inspired by the messages at Elevate 2009. A highlight was Patrick H. Hughes who inspired them to
“persevere, see the hearts of people, develop our talents, and fulfill the destiny the Lord has given us,” doris said. “As Scott
unclebach so eloquently stated, ‘Even a 65-year-old grandmother can do Max!’ I am a 65-year-old great grandmother and
yes we can!”
Making Max an extension of life
Rhonda and Jim Collins, of Henderson, Texas, are both in other full-time careers and do Max on the side. Rhonda is a
commercial insurance agent and Jim works as a general contractor.
