6. Individuals, including providers, who are
concerned with the need, planning,
operation, funding, and use of mental
health services and related support
services.

NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
The council shall not discriminate in any regard
with respect to race, creed, color, sex, sexual
orientation, marital status, religion, national
origin, ancestry, pregnancy and parenthood,
custody of a minor child, or physical, mental, or
sensory disability.

AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIONS
1. The council may officially represent itself,
but not the office of mental health, the
state of Louisiana, any state agency, or any
individual member in any matter
concerning or related to the council.
2. No council member shall make
representations on behalf of the council
without the authorization of the council.

1. The secretary shall prepare an agenda for each
council meeting. Council members may
submit motions in advance for placement on
the agenda for consideration under the
appropriate order of business. Officers and
committees reporting recommendations for
action by the council shall submit the
recommendations to the secretary at least 10
days before the meeting for entry on the
agenda. The tentative agenda for all regular
meetings will be available to all council
members at least five (5) days prior to each
council meeting. The secretary shall distribute
the tentative agenda in advance to any
member who requests it by the method
requested by the member.
2. Nothing contained in this rule shall prohibit
the council from considering any matter
otherwise in order and within its object at any
regular meeting.
