(c) Remove the O-ring from the center support.
NO. 2 BRAKE INSPECTION
INSPECT DISC, PLATE AND FLANGE
Check to see if the sliding surface of the disc, plate and
flange are worn or burnt. If necessary, replace them.
HINT:
If the lining of the disc is peeling off or discolored,
or even if parts of the printed numbers are defaced,
replace all discs.
Before assembling new discs, soak them in ATF
for at least fifteen minutes.
NO. 2 BRAKE ASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL NO. 2 BRAKE PISTON
(a) Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it on the
center support.
(b) Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it on the No.
2 brake piston.
(c) Place SST on the No. 2 brake piston.

(d) Being careful not to damage the O-rings, press in
the No. 2 brake piston into the center support with
both hands.
