Solve Rational Equations Rational equations are equations that contain rational<br />

expressions. To solve equations containing rational expressions, multiply each side of the<br />

equation by the least common denominator.<br />

Rational equations can be used to solve work problems <strong>and</strong> rate problems.<br />
