Southern England) analysis of<br />
demographic, diagnostic, treatm<strong>en</strong>t<br />
and severity of illness data within the<br />
South West Thames Database. Both<br />
innercity and rural populations are<br />
repres<strong>en</strong>ted in the database, only one<br />
hospital was a major teaching<br />
hospital. Each contributing hospital<br />
was visitied and case notes were<br />
