Identify linkages to surrounding habitat reserves<br />
and other natural areas for maintenance of<br />
biodiversity. Collaborate with local government, developers, and other entities to complement<br />
adjacent federal and non-federal land use zones and associated design criteria:<br />

and other natural areas for maintenance of biodiversity.<br />
• Work with land conservancies, local government and others to secure long-term habitat<br />
linkages.<br />
• Manage national forest uses and activities to be compatible with maintenance of habitat<br />
linkages.<br />
• Actively participate with local government, developers, and other entities to protect national<br />
forest values at intermix and interface zones.<br />
