Fac 1 - Facilities Maintenance Backlog
The backlog of facilities that do not meet the desired condition or complement the recreation
setting is reduced by replacing outdated substandard facilities
with safe, efficient, durable,
environmentally sensitive infrastructure:
• Identify and evaluate applicable property or buildings of potential historic value in support
of
the Facility Master Plan. Remove facilities no longer needed or abandoned, and restore sites
to natural conditions.
• Reduce the backlog with priority for health and safety and accessibility compliance.
• Increase the operating efficiency of existing buildings.
• Upgrade site
utilities for efficient operation. Remodel or construct new buildings to conform
to approved Facilities Master Plan.
