INACTIVITY<br />

If the automatic vending machine remains<br />

inactive for a long time it is necessary to take<br />

certain preventive measures:<br />

- while the vending machine is on, start the<br />

automatic emptying process in the SERVICE<br />

mode (see section 8)<br />

- at the end, disconnect the machine either<br />

from the electrical and water circuit<br />

- complete the emptying of the tank with float,<br />

by removing the plug located on the hose<br />

along the drain chute<br />

- replace the plug once the emptying has been<br />

completed (fig.63)<br />

- unload all products from their containers<br />

- wash all the parts in contact with foodstuffs<br />

according to the procedures already<br />

described<br />

- empty the liquid waste bin and clean it<br />

thoroughly<br />

- remove the grounds bag<br />

- clean all the internal and external surfaces of<br />

the machine with a cloth<br />

- protect the outside of the machine with plastic<br />

film or a bag (fig.65)<br />

- store in a dry and sheltered place at<br />

temperatures not lower than 1°C.<br />
