This curriculum prepares the graduate for a career as a pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
pilot with aviation business career options in airport management<br />
and development, and air transportation management. Graduates<br />
will achieve at least commercial pilot, instrument, multiengine ratings.<br />
They are provided a solid educational foundation in business,<br />
airport management and development, and air transportation management.<br />
Graduates may qualify for the Nathan M. Bisk College<br />
<strong>of</strong> Business Fast Track program by selecting appropriate business<br />
course electives. On completion <strong>of</strong> the first two years <strong>of</strong> the curriculum<br />
plus a computer literacy (CL) course with a cumulative<br />
GPA <strong>of</strong> 2.0 or higher, the student may petition for the award <strong>of</strong> the<br />
Associate <strong>of</strong> Science in Aviation Management–Flight.<br />

This curriculum provides a background in meteorology, aeronautical<br />
science and the appropriate physical sciences. A student completing<br />
the program meets the requirements <strong>of</strong> the U.S. Office <strong>of</strong><br />
Personnel Management for employment by the federal government<br />
as a meteorologist. Graduates are prepared for careers with major<br />
airlines, corporate aviation and the FAA, as well as international<br />
