The Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in Business Administration concentrates<br />
on a combination <strong>of</strong> basic and advanced courses in the various<br />
business disciplines. These are coordinated with courses covering<br />
current developments in the field, such as environmental aspects,<br />
quantitative techniques and computer applications. The emphasis<br />
<strong>of</strong> the business administration curriculum is on relevance, and the<br />
courses are continually updated with the objective <strong>of</strong> equipping<br />
each student with a background in the science <strong>of</strong> management.<br />
This will permit students to contribute significantly to their chosen<br />
occupations after graduation.<br />
The curriculum is designed to permit the student to acquire a foundation<br />
in all areas <strong>of</strong> business administration: accounting, business<br />
law, information systems, economics, finance, marketing, management,<br />
quantitative methods and statistics.<br />
After graduation, the student has an excellent background in the<br />
business and management fields and can directly enter the job<br />
market, in commerce, industry, government or other areas. Many<br />
students may wish to continue into graduate school or enter one<br />
<strong>of</strong> the pr<strong>of</strong>essional fields such as law, where they will have had an<br />
excellent undergraduate preparation.<br />
