The Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in International Business program emphasizes<br />

the globalization <strong>of</strong> commerce and provides students with<br />

the global skills necessary for success in the borderless world <strong>of</strong><br />

21st century business. The program includes a mandated summer<br />

study-abroad semester between the junior and senior years, two full<br />

semesters <strong>of</strong> language, and the option <strong>of</strong> a summer-abroad international<br />

business practicum in the semester after graduation.<br />

Students entering the international business program will be classified<br />

as pre-international business until such time as they earn<br />

a cumulative GPA <strong>of</strong> 2.75 for a minimum <strong>of</strong> 60 credit hours (15<br />

credit hours earned at <strong>Florida</strong> Tech for transfer students with an<br />

associate degree or equivalent). Students without a 2.75 GPA by<br />

the second semester <strong>of</strong> the junior year (15 credit hours for transfer<br />

students with an associate degree or equivalent) will be transferred<br />

to the business administration degree program.<br />

Candidates for the Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science in International Business<br />

must complete the minimum course requirements as outlined in<br />

the following curriculum.<br />
