—the modern way to control interior temperature
twelve months a year. Dial the temperature desired
and heated or cooled air maintains that temperature
automatically. Significant advancements for 1969
include a new feature that prevents windshield
fogging when the system is first turned on, a 19%
increase in cooling capacity, a 7% increase in heating
capacity, and more versatile air outlets for greater
passenger comfort. When outside air is above
approximately 35°, incoming air is first cooled to
control humidity, then reheated to assure maximum
comfort and minimum window fogging.
