COUPE FRONT SEAT<br />

A notch-back bench type front seat is standard.<br />

SEDAN FRONT SEAT<br />

A bench type, straight-across cushion and<br />

back rest type front seat is standard with cloth<br />

upholstery.<br />

A notch-back, coupe type bench seat is supplied<br />

in leather trimmed cars. The coupe back<br />

rests are secured so they will not fold forward.<br />

DUAL COMFORT SEAT OPTION<br />

A new Dual Comfort notch-back front seat,<br />

providing both driver and passenger with<br />

choice of seat adjustment for individual comfort,<br />

is optional—code S.<br />

Standard bench or Dual Comfort seats are<br />

available in either cloth or leather upholstery.<br />

SEAT ADJUSTERS<br />

Standard Seat: a power 2-way is standard; a<br />

power 6-way is optional—code Y.<br />

Dual Comfort Seat: Driver—a. power 2-way<br />

is standard; a power 6-way is optional—code Y.<br />

Passenger—& manual 2-way is standard; power<br />

6-way is optional—code V. However, to order<br />

code V a Y must also be ordered.<br />

page 17.<br />

ELECTRIC BACK REST RELEASE<br />

Power Door Locks, which are now electric,<br />

include a new feature in Coupes. It is an automatic<br />

release of both back rest locks when<br />

either door is opened. It permits folding the<br />

back rests forward without manually depressing<br />

a lock button.<br />

A manual release is standard if Power Door<br />

Locks are not ordered.<br />

LEATHER UPHOLSTERY<br />

Ostrich grain leather inserts and Sierra grain<br />

bolsters in 9 colors in the Coupe and 8 colors in<br />

the Hardtop Sedan are offered as standard production<br />

options.<br />

Inserts in Sierra grain and other leather colors<br />

may be special ordered.<br />

VINYL ROOF<br />

A cross-grain vinyl covered roof (not padded)<br />

with textured halo molding is available in<br />

six optional colors.<br />

FIREMIST COLORS<br />

Five beautifully radiant premium charge<br />

Firemist colors are available in addition to the<br />

16 regular option exterior colors.<br />

FLOOR MATS<br />

Two-piece front and rear rubber floor mats<br />

in harmonizing color with the interior are now<br />

included in groups 8 and 9. See page 21 for colors<br />

and ordering information.<br />

SHOULDER BELTS<br />

Front seat Shoulder Belts are standard. Two<br />

sets for the rear are optional.<br />

EQUIPMENT<br />

All optional equipment listed on page 13 is<br />

available.<br />

CLOTH UPHOLSTERY<br />

Two cloth patterns are offered in DeVille<br />

closed cars. Dardanelle is a damask type fabric<br />

available in four colors.<br />

Delphine cloth is also offered in four colors.<br />

This is a sateen type material with a woven pattern<br />

centered on each back rest pleat seam<br />

(three on each side of center section).<br />

TRIM STYLE<br />

The cloth trim style is different than when<br />

upholstered in leather. See page 8.<br />

INSTRUMENT PANELS<br />

The upper and lower instrument panels are<br />

now in the same dark tone colors.<br />

Steering Wheels are all Black.<br />

CENTER ARM RESTS<br />

Both front and rear seats include a leather<br />

covered folding center arm rest. Applies to<br />

either standard or Dual Comfort seats.<br />

DOOR INSERTS<br />

With leather upholstery, the doors and instrument<br />

panel have Rosewood inserts. Cloth<br />

upholstered cars have cloth door inserts and a<br />

charcoal-silver textured insert on the instrument<br />

panel.<br />

CARPETS<br />

A fine yarn, all nylon, cut pile carpet called<br />

Trianon is used for the floor covering. A Tyrol<br />

quality is applied to carpeted areas above the<br />

floor. A list of carpet colors may be found on<br />

page 22.<br />

HEADLINING<br />

A Bedford cord vinyl headlining in color to<br />

match the upholstery is standard. See chart on<br />

page 23.<br />

SPECIAL INTERIORS<br />

Listed on pages 52 through 66 are illustrations<br />

of special request orders. For customers<br />

who may prefer a non-standard interior combination,<br />

these suggestions may be helpful.
