This is a new code designating the right side<br />
front passenger 6-Way Power Seat Adjuster<br />
option on Dual Comfort Seat.<br />
HOW TO ORDER<br />
When a 6-way passenger seat adjuster is<br />
wanted on a Dual Comfort Seat, a 6-way<br />
drivr't seat adjuster must also be ordered.<br />
Mark both Y and V, or V plus a basic group<br />
(which includes Y) on the order form 5600A.<br />
CODE Y<br />
Represents a 6-Way power adjuster (or 4-<br />
Way on Eldorado driver's Bucket) for the followingtypes<br />
of front seats:<br />
1) Regular Bench.<br />
2) Driver's (left side) portion of individually<br />
controlled Dual Comfort Seat.<br />
3) Eldorado driver's Bucket Seat.<br />

All front seat adjuster controls are located<br />
at lower left side of seat (including "75" cars)<br />

control is on right side. All seat switches operate<br />
independently of the ignition switch.<br />
FRONT SEAT LOCATION<br />
The brackets that fasten front seats to the<br />
floor have forward and rearward locating holes.<br />
At the factory, installation is through the<br />
rear holes on all cars except Brougham and<br />
Sixty Special.<br />
ONE INCH MORE LEG ROOM IN M AND P<br />
In the Brougham and Sixty Special, attachment<br />
is through the front holes. This provides<br />
one inch more leg room in the front of<br />
these two styles.<br />
RELOCATE FOR MORE ROOM<br />
If additional leg room should be wanted in<br />
the Calais, De Ville or Eldorado series, the<br />
front seat may be relocated through the front<br />
holes.<br />
Although this is not a factory option, it is a<br />
simple procedure to perform in the Service<br />
Department.<br />
