HEADLINING MATERIAL<br />
The type and color of headlining material is<br />
indicated by the upholstery number in above<br />
chart.<br />
SUN SHADES<br />
In closed cars the color and fabric of sun<br />
shades and headlining is the same.<br />
In Convertible the sun shades are vinyl and<br />
match the upper instrument panel.<br />
LANDAU "75" HEADLINING<br />
Fleetwood "75" Landau cars will have Taffeta<br />
headlining with all trims (instead of Ascot<br />
as indicated on chart above).<br />
GARNISH MOLDINGS<br />
The windshield pillar and header moldings,<br />
rear view mirror support bracket cover are in<br />
dark tone to match the instrument panel color.<br />
Garnish moldings along side of headlining<br />
and rear window will be in headlining color<br />
as indicated on chart under color. This means<br />
that there is a color separation at the upper<br />
windshield pillar.<br />
For example in a Maroon upholstered<br />
Brougham with a special order Lt. Flax headlining,<br />
the roof rail and rear window garnish<br />
moldings will be Lt. Flax and the header, windshield<br />
pillar and rear view mirror bracket support<br />
cover will match the instrument panel<br />
which is Maroon.<br />
ASCOT CLOTH<br />
The velvet surface of Ascot headlining material<br />
reflects a range of light and dark tones<br />
depending upon the angle from which light<br />
strikes the nap.<br />
This may help explain a seeming contrast<br />
in upholstery and headlining colors.<br />
