➌ WARM-UP AND INTRODUCTIONS (10 minutes): Organize a warm-up game to break the ice and<br />
help participants get to know each other.<br />
Get to Know You Game. Ask participants to divide into pairs and give pairs a task. Then <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g>m new<br />
pairs and assign a new task, and so <strong>on</strong>. Examples of the instructi<strong>on</strong>s are given below:<br />
a) Find a new partner. Greet them as if you have not seen them <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g> a l<strong>on</strong>g time.<br />
b) Find a new partner and tell them something about yourself.<br />
c) Find a new partner. [Then give the following directi<strong>on</strong>s and asks pairs to follow: “Fr<strong>on</strong>t to fr<strong>on</strong>t.<br />
Back to back. Side to side. Foot to foot. Hand to hand…. .]<br />
d) Form a big circle. Ask each pers<strong>on</strong> going round the circle to introduce his/her rhyming name.<br />
➍ OBJECTIVES (5 minutes): Explain the objectives <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g> the workshop (see below).<br />
During the earlier workshops each group produced a number of outputs: body maps, a list of<br />
priority health problems, a list of services available, a list of things that prevent women from<br />
accessing services and ideas <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g> improving services.<br />
The objectives <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g> today’s workshop are to:<br />

Review these outputs.<br />
Work together in deciding <strong>on</strong> things we can do to solve some of these problems.<br />
Raise questi<strong>on</strong>s about specific diseases and get some answers.<br />
➎ GROUND RULES (5 minutes): Put up a list of the ground rules developed by all of the groups.<br />
Then say – “The workshop process will be similar. We encourage every<strong>on</strong>e to talk openly, to listen to and<br />
respect each other’s views, and to keep things you hear in this workshop c<strong>on</strong>fidential.”<br />
Sessi<strong>on</strong> 2: Sharing Outputs of Different Groups<br />
Facilitator’s Note: During this step the different groups share the major outputs they produced<br />
during the workshops; identify similarities and differences; and agree <strong>on</strong> priorities.<br />
Things to Guard Against: D<strong>on</strong>’t let the service providers or community leaders dominate and make<br />
sure that the views of women are heard and given full recogniti<strong>on</strong>.<br />

Preparati<strong>on</strong>: Take all the lists <strong>on</strong> a topic and put them <strong>on</strong> the wall.<br />
