Part A – How To Facilitate Workshop Sessi<strong>on</strong>s<br />

Punctuality and Presence of Facilitators<br />

Arrive at the venue an hour be<str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g>e the starting time to get everything organized. If you are<br />

seeing the venue <str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g> the first time, you may need extra time to rearrange the facilities to suit<br />

the program and participants.<br />

If participants arrive while you are setting up, welcome them and make them feel com<str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g>table,<br />

help them get registered, etc.<br />

You should be available to participants during breaks and lunch. This is a useful time to talk<br />

in<str<strong>on</strong>g>for</str<strong>on</strong>g>mally to participants and resp<strong>on</strong>d to their questi<strong>on</strong>s or c<strong>on</strong>cerns.<br />
